The art of firelighting.

Lightning a fire can be a two second task or a 10 minute mockery involving a lot of smoke & not a lot of fire.

This can be a frustrating timely process which you simply don’t have time for, creating swift processes to effectively save time helps when you need it most.

We have been utilising the top down method or “Jenga” as it can also can be called. This involves starting big at the bottom and working up to kindling at the top complete with some eco Firelighters to finish. (We may be biased but we highly recommend our eco Firefighters)

The here idea is the hot embers fall down lighting the firewood below and so on until you have a perfect bed of embers for the next logs to go onto.

Simply light & forget for an hour or so while you can get on with cooking tea or simply sitting back watching with a cup of tea. Either way this method helps simplify the Firelighting process making it a quick & easy way of keeping the house warm this winter.
